We decided to do art today with some geometry shapes. First we followed a pattern to create a giraffe (I want to introduce her to the fact that art can have rules--she wasn't super thrilled at first but was pleased with the outcome). Then I let her loose to create while I worked on the computer. This "sun" was her first creation. I love that she created it completely independent of anything or anyone!
